A three day gathering (Sept. 17-19) of youth workers (paid, volunteer, pastors and anyone who works with teenagers), centered on understanding the teenage culture and the future of youth ministry. The event will be held at Myrtle Beach Christian Retreat Center and facilitated by Mark Oestreicher (Marko). Marko has been involved in church ministry his whole life, particularly with teenagers and youth workers. Marko has had a broad experience working in churches across the country, in roles ranging from Junior High Pastor to Executive Pastor. For 11 years, Marko was the president of Youth Specialties in San Diego, an organization that trains and equips church youth workers.

Cost is $100 and includes your stay and most meals. We recommend that you read Youth Ministry 3.0 by Marko as preparation for coming. Space is limited.

We want to get away and dig into this youth ministry stuff that we care about so much. Join us for 3 days for a minimal cost, with a unique opportunity to connect with one of the leading voices in youth ministry, alongside peers who deeply care about your calling, and with a topic that's vital to having a successful ministry. And instead of walking away after three days with too many ideas from experts to know what to do with, you'll have had the opportunity to directly discuss your ministry context with others (who will have both similarities and differences) and dialogue about specific future steps for your own situation.
